Standard Installation Steps of Fire Pipe Repair Clamp

Before installing fire pipe repair clamp,operators need to clean rust,paint residues and dirt from the pipe surface around the leakage point.The defect size must be checked to confirm it fits the applicable range of the clamp.

Position the gasket and clamp shell to cover the leakage point.Tighten the fixing bolts in diagonal sequence to ensure even pressure.Over tightening may deform thin wall fire pipes and should be avoided strictly.

After installation,pressure testing is recommended to verify tightness.Regular visual inspection is required after repair.The clamp can only be used for qualified local defects and is not suitable for pipes with large area corrosion.
