Ductile Iron Branch Tee Repair Clamp
Product Overview
A Ductile Iron Branch Tee Repair Clamp is designed for repairing damaged areas around tee-shaped branch connections in pipeline systems. It can be used to address localized leakage, cracks, corrosion, and connection damage without requiring complete replacement of the affected pipe section.
The repair assembly generally consists of a ductile iron clamp body, sealing gasket, bolts, and nuts. Its tee-shaped configuration accommodates the main pipe and branch outlet while the gasket provides a sealing interface around the affected connection.
Structure and Sealing
The clamp body is shaped to correspond with the geometry of a tee branch connection. The sealing gasket is positioned between the repair clamp and pipe surface, covering the damaged area and helping prevent fluid from escaping through the leakage path.
Bolted fastening applies mechanical pressure to the clamp assembly and compresses the gasket against the pipe. The dimensions of the main pipe section, branch outlet, and sealing area can be configured according to the pipeline connection.
