Elbow Leak Repair Clamp
Product Overview
An Elbow Leak Repair Clamp is designed for repairing leakage and localized damage on pipe elbows and curved pipeline sections. It can be used where cracks, corrosion, pinholes, or other localized defects occur around an elbow connection.
The repair assembly generally consists of a shaped metal clamp body, sealing gasket, bolts, and nuts. The clamp follows the curved profile of the elbow and applies external pressure to the sealing area.
Structure and Sealing
The clamp body is formed according to the geometry and angle of the elbow, allowing it to cover the damaged section of the curved pipe. A sealing gasket is positioned between the clamp and pipe surface to cover the leakage path.
When the fastening bolts are tightened, the clamp compresses the gasket against the elbow surface. The resulting mechanical pressure helps seal the damaged area and maintain the repair assembly in position.
