Saddle Tee Repair Clamp
Product Overview
A Saddle Tee Repair Clamp is designed for localized repair of pipeline connections where a branch outlet is formed on the main pipe through a saddle or tee configuration. It can be used to address leakage, cracks, corrosion, and localized mechanical damage around the connection area.
The repair assembly generally consists of a saddle-shaped metal clamp body, sealing gasket, bolts, and nuts. The body follows the outside contour of the main pipe and branch connection, while the gasket provides a sealing interface over the affected section.
Structure and Sealing
The saddle tee structure combines the curved profile of the main pipe with a branch outlet section. This configuration allows the repair clamp to accommodate the geometry of a branch connection rather than a straight pipe section.
A sealing gasket is positioned between the clamp body and pipe surface. When the fastening bolts are tightened, the clamp compresses the gasket around the damaged or leaking area to form a mechanical seal.
