Pipeline Repair Clamp
Product Overview
A Pipeline Repair Clamp provides an external mechanical solution for repairing localized defects on pipelines without necessarily replacing the complete damaged section. It can be used for pipe leakage, surface cracks, corrosion damage, pinholes, and other accessible defects.
The typical assembly consists of a metal clamp body, sealing gasket, bolts, and nuts. The clamp is positioned around the affected pipe section and secured with the fastening system to compress the gasket against the pipe surface.
Structure and Sealing
The clamp body is designed to surround the outside diameter of the pipeline and provide a defined repair area. A sealing gasket is installed between the clamp and pipe surface, covering the damaged section and forming the sealing interface.
When the fastening bolts are tightened, clamping pressure is transferred to the gasket and pipe surface. The resulting mechanical seal helps isolate the localized defect while the clamp body provides external reinforcement.
Different clamp lengths and configurations can be selected according to pipe diameter, damage dimensions, pipe material, and operating conditions.
